Zero Waste Swap in the Beer Garden
Sip, swap, and make a difference 🌿🍻 Join us in the Beer Garden on April 22nd for a Zero-Waste Swap from 4 PM – 8 PM. Drop your gently used clothes, books and puzzle off in the morning at the general store from 12 PM – 2 PM. We will organize and sort, so by the afternoon, you’ll be able to leave with something you love. Plus, you’ll help keep items out of landfills. Good vibes, cold drinks, and sustainable living all in one place. ♻️✨
Spring Floral Arrangement
TICKET AVAILABLE HERE: tickets sold here Join Laurel with Do Something Co. for a creative morning with flowers and beer at Bell’s Eccentric Cafe! You’ll learn tips and tricks on how to create a basic floral centerpiece followed by step-by-step instruction to create your own. Each guest will be provided with fresh flowers, floral design tools and a vessel to create your arrangement in. You’ll leave with a beautiful, fresh floral arrangement and the skills to make more on your own! *Arrangement in photo is a sample and not necessarily what we will be creating based on best floral varieties available at time of workshop. Beer is not included with your ticket.
Back Room Trivia: Valentine’s Day Theme

Noon Year’s Eve with The Jump Bunny String Band
Public Event: Ring in 2026 early with a family-friendly balloon drop at NOON on NYE in the Back Room! After that, enjoy some live music from the Jump Bunny String Band and crafts for the whole fam. Sparkling juice available for purchase at 12 PM/Noon Balloon Drop.Doors open at 11 AM. This is a free, all-ages event. About the Jump Bunny String Band In their 15th year as the Jump Bunny String Band, this fun group of hopping bunnies and chickens from Kalamazoo, Michigan will bring you to your feet with a blend of eclectic, fun, and swinging tunes from the past and present. The group is made up of talented musicians who have been performing in the wonderful Michigan music scene for decades, notably from The Red Sea Pedestrians, The Corn Fed Girls and Payton & Annabelle. Their music brings together the generations to have a good time!
Cookie Decorating & Hot Cocoa with Santa
Public Event: Join us in the Back Room for holiday cookie decorating and hot cocoa with Santa on Tuesday, December 23rd, from 4 PM – 8 PM. We will also be collecting non-perishable food donations to support Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes this holiday season. We hope to see you there. This is a free, all-ages event.

Public Event: Join us for a free, all-ages Holiday Trivia in the Back Room on Friday, December 26th at 7 PM! We’re talking questions from your fave holiday movies, songs, and more. And guess what? We’re taking it back to old school, pencil and paper trivia! Which means, no more Kahoot. See you there!
Hopslam Release Party + HotSlam Spelling Bee
Come celebrate 20 YEARS of Hopslam! With $3 off flights featuring exclusive variants of Peach Hopslam, Half Slam, and Pineapple Jalapeno and $1 off 12oz pours of Hopslam. Plus, wing specials, and $20 Hopslam Sweatshirts and Sweaters at the Cafe & General Store. Then join us in the evening for an especially spicy HotSlam Spelling Bee in the Back Room! The rules? Easy. Four rounds, four wings, and four words. Each served with a progressively spicy chicken wing that’ll test both your vocab and heat tolerance. Participation is free, with limited spots available. Vegetarian options are available for the HotSlam Spelling Bee. Spelling Bee registration will take place in person from 6-6:30 PM. Spelling Bee kicks off at 7 PM. MUST BE 21+ TO PARTICIPATE IN SPELLING BEE and 18+ (17 and under with a parent/guardian) to attend the Spelling Bee. We hope to see you there!
