Kaden Anderson is a drummer hailing from Newton, Kansas. Currently in his fourth year of study in the Jazz Program at Western Michigan University, Kaden is honing his craft alongside a community of fellow musicians. He will be performing his original compositions with fellow students from the program, showcasing his unique musical voice and artistic vision. Kaden’s musical influences are diverse and expansive, drawing inspiration from many renowned artists and ensembles. Some of his favorites currently include the Brian Blade Fellowship, the Keith Jarrett Trio, Art Blakey & the Jazz Messengers, Wayne Shorter, Snarky Puppy, Marcus Gilmore, David Binney, Aaron Parks, and Pat Metheny. His work blends the complexity and creativity of modern jazz with a deep respect for its rich history.

Santino Jones is an MC, producer & performance artist from The Vine Neighborhood in Kalamazoo, Michigan. In his twelfth year as a student of Hip-Hop, he’s currently uniting his skills with members of the Jazz Community. Experimentation, truth & truly being in the moment remain as key points for Santino and his rotating back up group known as “The Just So Happens.” Expect nothing less than to feel as if the stranger next to you is a long lost friend, imaginary lines in the sand to blur on the concert floor & for those forty five minutes or so to remind you that the moment is truly all we have.

SONNY SKI AKA CDL Sonny. Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Sonny Ski brings raw introspection over groovy and hard hitting instrumentation. Known for his energy and stage presence along with his story telling and wordplay. Sonny not only will have your neck snapping, but your mind thinking.
